A Guide To Social Media video production Branding – UNUM

social media video production

In a digital age, we are exposed to social media video production every day. Whether for personal or business use, social media provides us with an opportunity to communicate and share content in real-time. This is what makes it so unique from a marketing perspective.

Facebook alone has 1.79 billion daily active users worldwide. Instagram boasts 1 billion monthly active users, LinkedIn sits at 675 million monthly active users, and Twitter reports 186 million daily active users. There are also over 2 billion logged-in monthly users reported worldwide on YouTube.

Having a presence on social media shows the world that your business is current and approachable. It also provides your customers with a unique way to learn more about your brand and forge a personal connection with you. This is precisely why social media branding needs to be a vital part of your marketing strategy.

Author and speaker Dave Willis says it well: “Don’t use social media to impress people; use it to impact people.”

Social engagement

‍Social media engagement is some form of interaction between the customer and the brand, which takes place within social media networks.

Once you’ve clearly defined the essence of your brand, the next step is to focus on how you want to engage with your audience. Engagement should be an important part of your branding strategy. It allows you to measure whether the content you’re creating is resonating with your audience.

You know your brand’s personality best. So, when thinking about your target audience, consider what type of voice and content will resonate. When building your branding strategy as it relates to engagement, you may want to ask yourself the following questions:

  • Is your brand voice formal or familiar? This may depend on what type of company, products, and/or services you provide. Content Marketing Institute provides some great tips on how to find your brand voice.
  • How frequently do you plan to post and engage with your followers? This could vary based on the size of your team and bandwidth. A general rule of thumb is to post at least once per day on each social media platform, but 1-3 posts daily are ideal. There are many online resources that provide great research on the best times to post based on individual social networks. And it goes without saying that an UNUM account can assist in planning, prepping, and publishing your content across multiple platforms.
  • Will you respond as yourself or as the voice of the company? Will there be just one person posting on behalf of the brand or more? If you will be responding as a company, you will want to ensure that you have written social media guidelines and protocols in place.

The benefits

There are many benefits to creating a social media branding strategy. Taking the time to do this will only enhance your overall marketing efforts. Remember that your content should be driven by your target audience. Don’t be afraid to communicate with your customers to find out what’s working and what’s not. The more you understand their needs, the better your engagement rates will be.

The payoff? As you increase brand awareness, you will gain more followers. This will garnish more leads, conversion, sales, growth, and ultimately customer loyalty. Your success will be determined when your marketing strategy delivers against your business goals. So, make no mistake that social media branding is a crucial piece of the puzzle.

“It’s important to be where your audience of potential customers is today, and where they might be tomorrow. It’s better to be ahead of the curve than behind.” — Andrew Delaney, Social Media Marketing Manager at HubSpot

How to Get More Followers on TikTok in 2022

TikTok is one of the newest social media platforms for creating videos. As a global pandemic kept people indoors and away from their friends, Tiktok skyrocketed in popularity. And it seems the novelty of the platform hasn’t worn off.

How to Grow Your TikTok Followers

If you want to succeed on TikTok, you need to nurture an extensive presence on the platform. When you have a larger audience, you’ll get more attention for your brand so you can increase brand awareness, boost sales, and create lasting relationships with your target audience. While there are platforms you can use to help you get more followers fast, that’s really only going to help you short-term. To use the platform to its fullest potential, you need genuine TikTok followers that actually care about your brand and what you have to say.

Identify Your Target Audience

Once you’ve found your target audience, you’ll need to create content specifically for that audience. While your goal is to get more TikTok followers, it’s important to approach your content creation with the purpose of educating and entertaining your target audience to make real connections. Don’t just go out and try to get followers for the sake of getting followers. You want the right followers, the ones who are interested in your brand and your products and services. Millions aren’t going to help you if those followers aren’t interested in moving deeper into your marketing funnel.

TikTok is all about the trends and you can drastically increase your TikTok followers by jumping on trends as they arise. Of course, just because something is trending doesn’t mean you have to participate. Be discerning about the trends that you join in on to make sure that they’re the trends your target audience is also participating in.

Educate Your Followers

The best TikTok content for brands and influencers is both educational and entertaining. Use TikTok to create engaging and educational content that provides value to your followers. It’s a great idea to use clever TikTok content to share information about your products and services that can best serve your audience and make their lives easier.

Use Hashtags

Hashtags are popular on most social media platforms because they make it so easy to find collections of the content you’re interested in. Using hashtags on TikTok can help you grow your TikTok audience—especially when you use a combination of branded hashtags, trending hashtags, business-specific hashtags, and general hashtags.

Post at the Right Time

One of the best ways to get more TikTok followers is to make sure you post on TikTok at the right time. The best time is, of course, when your audience is most likely to be online. It could take some trial and error to find that sweet spot but it’s so worth it.

Create (and Participate in) Challenges

We recommend participating in the same challenges that your target audience are facing. Many of the popular challenges are dance ones so be prepared to show your best moves. In addition to participating in existing challenges, you could create your own.

Engage With Other TikTok Creators

It’s important to engage with other creators on the platform, using TikTok’s duet and stitch features to increase engagement. Start by finding ways to incorporate education about your products and services in these engagement efforts, but don’t shy away from engaging with other creators simply because you enjoy their content.

Get More Followers With Creativity and Persistence

TikTok continues to increase in popularity so if you’re interested in getting more followers , there’s no time to waste. Using the tips in this article, you’ll be well on your way to getting more followers, increasing engagement, and building a vibrant community on the platform.

TikTok’s primary feed, the For You page, offers up highly personalized content for each user based on videos they’ve watched and liked as well as the creators they follow. Getting your content on TikTok’s  For You page is key to success on the platform but without the other tips on this list, your likelihood of getting to the For You page, or featuring consistently on the page, is slim.

Each of the tips in this article is important, but don’t get overwhelmed. You don’t have to implement every single tip all at once. Then, create high-quality content (with a CTA) and publish it during peak times.

The Complete Wedding Video Guide: Ideas, Tips, and More

Proposal Video

About to pop the question? If you’re looking for a proposal idea that’ll take their breath away, propose with a video. Even if you don’t go with a video proposal, you can still turn to video to document the moment. Ask a friend or a photographer to capture your proposal and maybe the same person for your wedding. Then share an engagement slideshow or proposal recap to announce your engagement. If you’re using Animoto, you can start with our Engagement Slideshow video template and then customize your video however you like.

DURING THE WEDDING

Wedding ceremony slideshow

It only takes a few minutes to grab ceremony photos and turn them into a slideshow for your reception. Make sure you have a screen and projector or large TV ready. Then upload your photos onto a laptop. Add them to Animoto and in a few minutes you can have a beautiful slideshow ready for your reception.

Video booth

Make the photo booth even more fun by adding a component. Let guests share their well wishes for the new couple or just get silly with props. You can even create a DIY video booth with a mounted tablet.

Even if you’re sticking to a photo booth, you can share your favorites in a quick video you can share on social media after the ceremony.

Wedding favors

Video can make a sweet wedding favor or thank you gift for bridesmaids and groomsmen. Take a look at a few of the ways you can package a wedding video as a gift. Give a general thank you to attendees or a personalized message, letting them know how much their love and support means to you. Then share your video in an elegant way. For instance, you could gift your video in a USB box like the one below from Same Day Flash.

AFTER THE WEDDING

Honeymoon video recap

Turn your honeymoon photos and clips into a video album you can come back to for years to come. Or just give loved ones a post-wedding update on your honeymoon with a video you share on social media. Either way, get our tips for recapping your honeymoon with video.

Anniversary slideshow

Whether it’s your first anniversary or your 25th, this is a thoughtful way to show you’re still head over heels in love. Check out our post on making an anniversary gift to get tips for creating your own anniversary video. A slideshow can also be a way to celebrate a big anniversary milestone, say if you’re throwing a party for a couple’s 50th anniversary. If you are presenting your clip at a party, take a look at a few ways you can show your clip on a TV or through a projector.

SELECTING AN AMATEUR VIDEOGRAPHER

You’ll be busy getting married on your day, so if you go for a DIY wedding clip, make sure you plan out who’ll be in charge. Designate one or more attendees as the videographer and get them any equipment they might need on your wedding day. Here are some options to consider when deciding on how your video will be shot:

  • Designate a guest as your videographer.
  • Hire a student to take care of your video. It’ll reduce costs and free up guests to enjoy the festivities.
  • Let guests take clips and photos during the day of your wedding and retrieve everything after the event. Take a look at this blog post to discover different ways you can collect footage and photos from guests.
  • Give a few guests mobile cameras, like a GoPro, to capture the action. You can even get creative and add a camera to a bouquet or other wedding-day items to get a unique view of events.
  • Microphone: This fits under the nice-to-have column. You’ll

Hiring a videographer

Professional wedding videography can ensure that every movement on your wedding day gets preserved in a beautiful, well-crafted clip. But if you’re looking to hire a pro, there are a few things to consider.

QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR VIDEOGRAPHER

When you’re interviewing potential wedding videographers, make sure you know exactly what they offer. Here are a few questions you can ask before saying “I do” to your videographer.

  • Are you available on the date of our wedding?
  • Do you offer any packages? What’s included in your packages?
  • Have you worked with our photographer before?
  • How long will you be filming?
  • How many videographers will be there on the day of the wedding?
  • How long will it be?
  • Will it include audio?
  • How do you choose music for a wedding clip?
  • When can we expect the video to be ready?

WEDDING VIDEO PRICES

Like many aspects of a wedding, there is a lot of variety in wedding videography pricing. Before you settle on a videographer, here are a few cost-related things to think about:

  • Set a budget: Before you start talking to a videographer, think about how much you can set aside for your wedding videography.
  • Ask about packages: Some videographers will give you a la carte pricing and others will have packages that can bring down costs.
  • Read over your contract: Make sure everything you want is included. Be very clear on what you’re getting. If it’s not in the contract, you can’t expect it on your wedding day.

Sign your contract quickly: Though you should take time to read it over, don’t wait too long to sign a great videographer! They might get snapped up by another couple.

How to Make YouTube Shorts: Everything You Need to Know

youtube video

Since launching in 2005, YouTube has been home to countless video trends and many forms of entertainment. Who remembers Charlie Bit My Finger, David After Dentist, and the still very relevant Leave Britney Alone?

The team behind one of the most visited websites has hopped on the short-form video bandwagon by creating Shorts. These 15-60 second shorts are designed to entertain audiences and help brands and creators drive engagement.

What are YouTube Shorts?

YouTube Shorts are short-form, vertical content created using a smartphone and uploaded directly from the app.

Viewers of your Shorts can share, comment, like, dislike, or subscribe to your channel while viewing the video. The content doesn’t disappear and remains on YouTube, unlike other short-form shorts apps like Instagram Stories and Snapchat.

Why try YouTube Shorts?

Initially launched in India on Sept 14th, 2020, and rolled out across the U.S. on March 18th, 2021, YouTube Shorts quickly surpassed 6.5 billion daily views globally.

YouTube’s VP of Product Management described the video format as “a new short-form short experience for creators and artists who want to shoot short, catchy videos using nothing but their mobile phones,” and goes on to say, “Shorts is a new way to express yourself in 15 seconds or less”.

YouTube’s attempt at short-form video content isn’t a far cry from other ephemeral videos on social media, including TikTok, Instagram Reels, Instagram Stories, Snapchat Spotlight, and even Twitter Fleets and LinkedIn Stories (RIP).

But, what sets Shorts apart is its ability to convert viewers into subscribers for your channel, a must-do for brands and creators.

When you’re setting up Shorts, you can create an entirely separate channel for your Shorts or place the Shorts widget in your main channel. But we recommend keeping your Shorts on your main channel. This is because aligning your main feed YouTube content and your Shorts content in one place will make it easier for your audience to stay engaged with your shorts and give them more opportunity to hop from Shorts to YouTube shorts and ultimately subscribe to your channel

Viewers can find your Shorts by tapping Shorts at the bottom of the app.

Alternatively, audiences can access Shorts:

  • On the YouTube homepage
  • On your channel page
  • Via notifications

After completing this guide you will have a beautiful blog that is ready to share with the world.

This guide is made especially for beginners. I will walk you through each and every step, using plenty of pictures and videos to make it all perfectly clear.

If you get stuck or have questions at any point, simply send me a message and I will do my best to help you out.

Ready to start? Click here to skip the intro and start building your blog now

Starting a blog can seem overwhelming and intimidating. This free guide is all about blogging for beginners, and will teach you how to become a blogger with just the most basic computer skills. So whether you’re 8 or 88, you can create your own blog in 20 minutes.

You can benefit from more than a decade of my experience so that you don’t repeat these same mistakes when you make your own blog. I created this free guide so that a complete beginner can learn how to blog quickly and easily.

How to Start a Blog in 6 Steps

  1. Pick a blog name. Choose a descriptive name for your blog.
  2. Get your blog online. Register your blog and get hosting.
  3. Customize your blog. Choose a free blog design template and tweak it.
  4. Write & publish your first post. Share your thoughts with the world. The fun part!
  5. Promote your blog. Get more people to read your blog with the proper marketing.
  6. Make money blogging. Choose from several options to monetize your blog.

Should you start a blog?

One of the misconceptions about starting a blog is that you need to be a great writer to be successful. Nothing could be further from the truth. People read blog sites to get a personal perspective on things, so most bloggers write in a very informal and conversational way.

Many successful bloggers will write about a variety of topics on the same blog, this is because of the format.

In addition, you don’t need to be an expert on any of the topics you write about to have a successful blog. For example, visitors to a cooking blog don’t want to read a textbook from a food scientist, they want to hear the experiences of someone who has actually cooked some real meals, mistakes and all.

To be successful as a blogger there is really just one requirement: a passion for your topic.

At its heart, blogging is about sharing your knowledge with the world. Writing about things that you are passionate about makes the process of starting a successful blog so much easier. As long as you are writing about things that you are genuinely interested in, your passion will shine through and keep your visitors interested.

So why would you go to the trouble of blogging? There are a few reasons:

  • Share your story. A blog allows you to have a voice and be heard. You can share your story with the entire world if you so choose. One of the most common ways blogs are used are as a diary where the blogger writes about their daily experiences so that friends, family, and others can all be a part of their lives.
  • Make money from home. Blogging can be quite lucrative if done correctly. The top bloggers in the world obviously earn quite a bit, but even a part-time blogger can expect to make a nice profit if things are done correctly. The best part about it is that blogging is a form of passive income, since you can spend just a few hours a week writing a piece of content and then continue to profit from it long after the the writing is finished. I go into much more detail on how to blog for money later in this guide.
  • Recognition for yourself or your business. No, you probably won’t have paparazzi following you around because of your latest post. But a successful blog makes your idea into a reality, and can gain you a ton of recognition in your respective field. Many bloggers are known as experts just because of their blogs, and some have even gotten book and movie deals based on their blogs.
  • Find a community. Blogging at its heart is interactive. You write a post and people comment on it. This is a good way to connect with people who are interested in the same things as you are. Blogging allows you to teach these people based on your experience, and it gives you the opportunity to learn from your readers as well.

Step 1: Pick a blog name

If you’ve already got an idea for the name of your blog, you can check to make sure that no one else has already registered it:

Note: You cannot use any spaces or punctuation other than dashes in a domain name.

If you find that the name you wanted is already taken there are a few things you can do:

  • Try a different domain extension.
  • Add small words. Words like “a”, “my”, “best”, or “the”. For example, this site is called TheBlogStarter.com instead of BlogStarter.com.
  • Add dashes between words. For example, scott-chow.com

How to Choose a Blog Topic & Name

If you don’t have an idea for a name already, the first step is choosing your blog topic.

If you’re not sure what to blog about, there are a few ways to find a good blog topic:

  • Life experiences. Everyone has lessons they have learned through life experience. Sharing this knowledge can be incredibly helpful to others in similar situations.
For example, I recently helped a woman start her blog about being a fireman’s wife. She has a lot of experience and knowledge to share with others about this topic, and it has helped her connect with others in similar situations.
Think about the things you have experienced in life. This could be related to your family (example: a blog about being a stay at home mom), work (a blog about experiences dealing with clients), or other life experiences (a blog about dealing with a troubling time such as a disease or divorce, or about a happy time such as preparing for a wedding or a birth of a child).
  • A personal blog. A personal blog is a blog all about you. This will include a variety of topics, from things you do on a daily basis, to random thoughts and musings. This is a great way to share your thoughts with the world without having to stick to just one topic.
  • Hobbies & passions. Hobbies or other interests you are passionate about are a great place to start. Cooking, travel, fashion, sports, and cars are all classic examples. But even blogs about more obscure hobbies can be successful, since the your audience is literally anyone in the world with the internet.

Once you have a topic it’s time to choose your blog name, also known as your domain name.

A good blog name should be descriptive so that potential visitors can instantly tell what your blog is about just from the name.

If you are blogging about one specific topic then you will definitely want to include that in some way when you pick a domain name. Try not to get hung-up on just one word though. For example, a videographers blog doesn’t necessarily have to have the word “videographer” in it. The words “video marketing”, “filming”, and “cameras” would also let people know that your blog is about being a videographer.

A .com domain extension is the most preferred, but .net or .org work as well. It is also important to note that for the purposes of a blog domain you cannot have any spaces between words. So “Blogging with Kelsey” becomes bloggingwithkelsey.com

Step 2: Get your blog online

Now that you’ve got a name picked out it’s time to get your blog online. This might sound hard or technical, but the steps below will walk you right through and make the process easy.

To get your blog up and running you need two things: blog hosting (also known as web hosting) and blogging software. The good news is that these typically come packaged together.

A blog host is a company that stores all of the files for your blog and delivers them to the user when they type in your blog name. You must have a blog host in order to have a blog.

You also need to have the software to build your blog. In this guide I will be showing you how to build a blog using the WordPress blogging software, because it is the most popular, customizable, and easiest to use.

Step 3: Customize your blog

How do I start a blog? You can watch me build and customize a beautiful blog from scratch here:

The video above should answer a lot of questions you might have about how to set up a blog and get it customized. Here is a step-by-step break-down of some of things I show in the video.

Logging in

If you are not already logged-in from the previous step, go to Bluehost.com and click “Login” on the top right to bring up the login screen.  You can then login using your domain name and the password you set in the previous step.  If you have misplaced your password you can reset it by clicking the “Forgot Password” link.

Once you log-in you will be taken to your BlueHost Portal.  From the portal you can click the blue “WordPress” button to be logged-in automatically to your WordPress blog.

Changing your blog design

Once you login you will be in the WordPress dashboard. This is where you can make any changes you want to your blog.

Everyone has a different idea of how they want their blog or video marketing page to look to look. One of the great things about WordPress is that you can change your entire layout and design with just a few clicks.

In WordPress, blog layouts are known as “Themes”. What is a blog theme? Themes control the entire design of your WordPress blog. To change your theme you are going to click on the “Appearance” tab on the left menu.

You will see several free WordPress themes are already installed on your blog: Twenty Seventeen, Twenty Sixteen, etc. These are well-designed, clean-looking themes that can work for just about any type of blog. In fact, many of the world’s top bloggers use one of these themes.

Unless you have a very specific design in mind for your blog, I suggest you use one of these themes to start with. For our example, let’s use the “Twenty Sixteen” WordPress theme. In order to activate the theme on your blog, hover over the theme and click the “Activate” button. That’s it! You have changed the entire design of your blog with just one click!

If you don’t like any of the themes that are already installed you can easily choose from thousands of other free WordPress themes. To install a new WordPress theme, click on the “Appearance” tab on the left menu and then click “Add New Theme”.

This is the WordPress theme search screen.  There are thousands of themes to choose from.  You can change your entire design at anytime simply by activating a new WordPress theme.  To find a theme you like, I suggest you click on the “Popular” tab and start browsing. When you find one that you like click the blue “Install” button.

Once the theme is installed click “Activate” to activate the theme on your blog. To see your new theme in action, go to your blog and take a look!

Step 4: How to write a new blog post & publish it

Now that your blog is up and running it’s time to actually do some blogging!  Let’s create your first piece of content.

Go to the left menu and click on “Posts”.

You will see there is already a post there. This is a default post on every new WordPress blog, and we don’t need it. To delete it click “Trash” just under the post.

To begin writing a new post, click the “Add New” link.

You are now on the post editor screen. Enter the title of your post in the top box and then begin writing your post in the lower box.

If you would like to add a picture to your post, click on the “Add Image” icon and click “Upload” to upload a picture from your computer. You can make adjustments to the picture size on the next screen. When you are ready click “Insert into post” to add the picture.

Once you have finished your post just click the “Publish” button on the top right side of the screen to publish the new post.

Content That Should be on Your Blog

There are two main types of content your blog should provide: static and dynamic content.

Static Content: Your blog should contain a few necessary pages explicitly designed to provide the visitor with the tools they need. The content on these pages is static, meaning – the content doesn’t change, or at least not very often. These are mainly top-level pages that can be accessed via a menu on your blog.

These static content pages should be in place well before you launch your blog to the world.

Important static pages to include:

  • About Me (Us) – This page should include a biographical summary of the author(s) as well as a mission statement. Think about the answers to these questions: How did your passion for the subject matter develop? What do you want to convey to the world? What is your ultimate goal?
  • Contact Me (Us) – A contact page provides the visitor a place to reach the author which, in turn, provides the visitor with the reassurance that you are a real and reachable author. You can add your physical address, phone number, and custom email address. Or you can utilize a simple contact form to keep your personal identifying information private. You should put links to all of your social media profiles here as well.

Your blog content should be regularly submitted at specific intervals. Waiting months to create content will never build a following. Posting content weekly and driving traffic to these posts will help build your brand.

How to write great blog content

Each post should be lengthy, informative, and engaging. It’s not always easy to come up with new blog and video marketing post ideas on a regular basis and you are free to mix up the tone and even the subject matter to keep things lively and interesting.

Define the Content: Create an alluring post title that stimulates curiosity and encourages clicks. Use the first paragraph of your post to clearly define the topic of your article and provide a possible hook to keep the reader reading.

The Longer the Better – But Break It Up: The more information and detail you include, the better. But visitors will begin to skim if the content contains lengthy paragraphs a mile long, and will pop out faster than they came in. Visitors enjoy tidbits. Keep your paragraphs short with spaces in between, use lists and standout quotes, use images, and always include headings and sub-headings so that visitors can find what they’re looking for.

Engage The Reader: At the end of each post, a common tactic used to engage visitors is posing a meaningful question to your audience and asking them to reply in the comments. This simple measure can increase engagement tenfold.

Original Content: Your content should always be original. Your content should come from your heart, your brain, your knowledge base, and your experience. You can get topic ideas from others in your field, but make sure the content comes from you.

Original Photos: While it is easy to include stock images from free image sites, it is even better to include your own photos and graphic work. Another idea is to take free images and manipulate them with a free photo editor.

Edit Work: The blog content should be sufficiently edited. Nothing says unprofessional like several typographical and grammatical errors. If you need a few refresher courses in grammar, consider using a writing application.

Publishing Your Blog

Even after you have written a post your blog may still be showing a placeholder page.

When you are ready to make your blog public for the first time, just click the “BlueHost” menu at the top left of the menu in your WordPress dashboard then click the blue “Launch” button to remove the placeholder page and launch your blog.

Congratulations! You now know how to start your own blog and publish content!

Step 5: Promote your blog

Creating a well-designed blog and writing great content is just the start. In order to get visitors to your blog you will need spend some time promoting it, especially when you first start.

The strategies below will help get your blog in front of more readers. You don’t need to use every strategy – try out a few and see what works well for you.

Alert Your Inner Circle

The very first people who should become aware of your blog are your inner circle. This includes family, friends, and colleagues within your field. Encourage them to become followers, ask them to mention your new blog, and – most importantly – thank them.

Use Social Media

While you don’t want to overdo it, you still want to create accounts with the “biggies” like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, and Instagram.  You should post a link to your newest content on your accounts, but you can also post relevant news and links to other sources that your readers may find interesting.  Don’t forget to use hashtags and engage with your followers!

One of my favourite ways to get visitors to a blog or a video marketing agency is to post links on my social accounts, like Facebook and Twitter. This is great, because not only do your friends see the link, but if your friends share the link with their friends it automatically multiplies your visitors. If you have created high-quality content on your blog then social media is a way for your blog to go viral.

Comment on Other Blogs

Find other blogs and social media for videos in your community and engage with them. Using the comment section, introduce yourself and leave engaging and constructive comments. Many will allow you to leave a link to your blog. After creating relationships with prominent bloggers in your community, you will find yourself within their ranks quickly.

Engage with Your Visitors

When your readers leave comments on your posts, always engage with them. Reply to their comments and questions, give them “likes” and affirmations. When it is obvious that an author cares about his/her community and readership, visitors are naturally encouraged to return.

Collaborate with other bloggers

Become enmeshed in your blogging community by collaborating with respected members of your field. Collaborating includes guest posting, promoting each other’s blogs and products, and regularly interacting through comments and social media.

Post Regularly

Post content regularly. Create an editorial calendar and stick to it. A good blogger posts at least once per week to start. If you have long lapses between posts, your followers will drop off and your growth will be severely hampered. It’s not easy to post on a schedule, but it’s something you absolutely must stick to.

Create an Email List

In addition to getting new visitors to your blog, you will also want to make sure your current visitors are coming back. This is where email marketing plays a big role. By collecting the email addresses of your visitors (with their permission of course), you can then notify them when you post new content on your blog. This keeps people coming back to your blog, which not only gives you more readers over time, it also allows you to build a closer relationship with your visitors.

Step 6: Make money from your blog

Once you have put in the effort of creating great blog content and promoting your blog maybe for a video marketing agency, making money from your blog is actually the easy part.

Blogs have the potential to be extremely lucrative, but don’t assume that you’re going to start making money in the first week, or even in the first month. It could take six months to a year to start seeing a steady stream of income. Blogging takes work and dedication, but once you develop a large enough audience, there are several methods you can employ to monetize your blog.

Top Trending Videos And Videographers 2021

In 2021, you tuned in to see NASA’s Mars Perseverance Rover land (live!) on Mars, joined together to set a new record for BTS, and took part in the epic storylines that played out across the Dream SMP, a collaborative Minecraft server with an active fandom full of videographers and commentators. You also raised short-form video to new heights, watching new cooking, dental (yes, dental), and magic creators (on youtube) transform traditional entertainment.

As the year comes to a close, it’s time to celebrate with a look at the top trending videos, videographers, and artists you helped propel to mainstream success.

Also making the year’s top trending list: A new survival challenge from MrBeast, the Weeknd’s much memeified performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show, a hot take on one of the most talked-about games of the year, a scripted morality lesson, a moving musical audition, and a fight against zombies. What Are 360 Videos? Your Video Production?

Videographers might not be familiar with what 360 videos is, but they have likely seen it before.

It’s the type of spherical video that surrounds your entire view and captures every direction at once.

The technology behind this kind of footage has been around for years, but recent advances to smartphones and VR headsets have made this form of recording easier than ever.

What Is 360 Video?

Recording 360-degree videos can be tricky – if you do not use the right equipment, your camera may have blind spots that cannot be seen in the final product.

This is accomplished by recording the video with multiple cameras and stitching it together.

It’s possible to look up and down at once with 360 video. There are many different ways that people can take 360 videos – by using specialized equipment or just their phone camera.

It can be watched on any device and is used in VR (virtual reality) headsets to allow the viewer to explore or experience the content as if they are there.

But what exactly does this mean? How does it work? Let’s find out!

360 Video Formats

There are many different formats for 360 video ranging from mono to stereo to multi-camera setups.

The most popular type of camera used for 360 videos is an omnidirectional rig (ODR).

How To Watch 360 Degree Video?

Do you want to watch 360 degree video?

Watching a 360-degree video is not the same as watching normal videos on your phone. You need to use VR glasses or download an app that allows you to watch it on your TV screen.

In order for these types of videos to work properly, viewers need to download a special app that allows them access.

If you don’t have either of these, then the next best thing would be googling “360-degree video player” and finding one that works for you.

Why Should I Be Interested In 360° Video Now?

360° cameras are now more affordable than ever and the quality of footage is better than in previous years.

They’re a great way to capture memories, preserve moments that take place away from our screens, or even for those who want to be able to share their life with friends and family all over the world.

Since the beginning of time, humans have been in pursuit of knowledge. As technology has advanced, we have found ourselves with greater access to this knowledge.

This surge in information is now happening exponentially and at a blistering pace—so much so that people are struggling to keep up with what’s happening around them.

The 360° is an immersive video format that has been around for a few years. However, it’s just now gaining popularity with the release of affordable 360° cameras and VR headsets to make viewing these videos more user-friendly.

You can shoot them on your phone or use a device like Ricoh Theta which is small enough to bring anywhere you want! They’re perfect for travel, vacations, concerts and even weddings.

This type of content is perfect for advertising products as it makes viewers feel like they’re experiencing them firsthand with no barriers between themselves and whatever is being shown on screen.

It also has other potential uses such as showing off an event or venue before it opens its doors to guests.

Publishing Your 360° Video Content

It is time to start publishing your 360° content. The days of just posting a video and leaving it there are over, so I’ve compiled some tips for you to get started.

-Plan out the weeks ahead and post on specific days or topics in order to build up an audience  -Use hashtags like #360Video or #VRVideo in order to reach a

wider audience -Engage with your viewers by asking questions and having fun with them via social media such as Facebook Live or Instagram Live!

The way you create and publish your 360° content is just as important as the quality of the photos.

If your images are poorly edited, there will be a lot more work to do in post-production which can lead to less than stellar results.

It’s best to use high-quality editing software such as Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom for raw photo editing and then enhance them with other digital tools like filters, textures, overlays, etc.

Stitching 360° Video

It might be hard to find videos like this, but they are out there.

I’ve been learning about stitching and how it can make these videos possible. In the past few months, I have come across more interesting articles on stitching and learned new things with every one of them.

How can you stitch a 360° video? How do you create an immersive experience for the viewer? These are questions that we will answer in this post. We will go through the steps of stitching, what gear to use, and how to edit your footage so it’s seamless.

If you’re into filmmaking, then 360° video is a must. This article will help you understand the basics of stitching and offer some tips on how to make it work for your next project.

What if you could stitch together images and video from all 360° around you? That is the idea behind stitching.

This blog post will go over what stitching is and how it works as well as some of the different uses for stitching.

The Best Youtube 360 Videos For Your Video Production

There are many different types of videos to choose from, but some people have had trouble figuring out how to watch them in VR mode.

businesses looking to reach their target audience with innovative content strategies.

They can explore different perspectives within the video and even follow objects without moving from spot on the screen.

If you have one of these devices then YouTube is an app just for this type of viewing, YouTube 360 Video Player . So go ahead and check it out!

The Benefits Of A Mirrorless Camera For Video Production?

Mirrorless cameras are rising in popularity. As their technology improves, many professional video production company’s / videographers are opting for these cameras over DSLRs. What makes the mirrorless camera so popular today? Featuring large sensors, interchangeable lenses, and manual controls, mirrorless cameras offer many advantages of a DSLR but without the bulk.

They manage to maintain smaller size by eliminating optical viewfinders and flip-up mirrors. Here are seven benefits of mirrorless cameras.

They are smaller

Almost without fail, the biggest factor you’ll consider when comparing mirrorless cameras with DSLRs is size.

Mirrorless cameras can be more compact cameras because they don’t have a mirror box. These smaller dimensions make mirrorless cameras a great option for journalists short on space.

Naturally the size depends entirely on the model you buy. You can get small micro four thirds cameras that are pocketable. You can even get large full frame mirrorless cameras that aren’t all that different to a DSLR.

They are lighter

As with size, the lighter weight can also be one of the mirrorless camera’s most significant benefits.

Without the heavy mirror box, mirrorless cameras can be lighter than DSLRs, relieving your shoulders and neck of the strain you get carrying around a heavy DSLR.

Once again, a mirrorless camera’s weight all depends on the sensor size. But a DSLR camera will typically weigh at least 300 grams more than its mirrorless equivalent.

That may not sound like much but most photographers want to reduce weight as much as possible, especially if they’re likely to be out and about with their camera a lot.

They are quieter

DSLRs make that telltale shutter sound that tells you when the mirror has swung to admit light.

Without a mirror, mirrorless cameras can be almost silent, depending on the mode selected. They’re significantly quieter than DSLRs, which is a huge bonus when you’re photographing a wedding ceremony or a cathedral.

They have high quality electronic viewfinders

The live electronic viewfinders found on some mirrorless cameras have proven to be exceptionally handy.

Replacing optical viewfinders on DSLRs, electronic viewfinders can provide a live preview of how images becoming recorded. This means you can see and correct the results of exposure and white balance before you actually shoot. This is particularly handy for long-exposure night photography.

The top brass of mirrorless cameras come with impressive OLED displays for their viewfinders, which deliver high resolution and a bright, detailed scene.

Even better, you can often customise screen info, enable a magnified view to help you manually focus, or show a live histogram while you’re adjusting settings.

Electronic viewfinders are hugely beneficial for videographers because they actually work! The optical viewfinders in DSLRs are virtually useless, whereas EVFs continuously show the scene while you’re recording.

They’re unassuming and non-threatening

Unlike DSLRs, mirrorless cameras don’t look so professional and daunting. This often makes portrait subjects more relaxed and natural.

They’re also handy when you want to subtly capture street photography or sights where professional cameras are typically forbidden or require a permit.

More autofocus points with a greater spread

Because there’s no mirror in the way, mirrorless cameras tend to have a higher number of focus points, which can be spread across the whole frame.

This is a special advantage of mirrorless cameras, meaning you have much greater control over which area of the frame you want to focus on.

5 Tips For Videographers To Capture Beautiful Landscape Footage For Video Production

Whether you’re shooting for your latest narrative or documentary feature or looking to get some beautiful shots for your travel blog or a video production landscape footage can be both challenging and fun. Let’s look at five key practices to help ensure you as a videographer capture the best and most beautiful landscape footage possible for your next post on a video marketing website.

1. Mind the Horizon and Your Composition

When setting up your shot, your first composition decision is going to be where to sort your horizon line. If you follow the rule of thirds (more on the concept here), you have some options. You can put the horizon on the bottom line if you’d like your viewer to focus on the sky. You can put the horizon on the top if you’d like to focus on the land. Plus can also put the horizon down the very middle to create symmetry.

Whatever you choose, feel free to experiment. However, unless you’re going for a canted-angle look, be sure your tripod or stand is accurately calibrated to the ground, or your horizon line could look uneven.

2. Check the Light and the Clouds

As the greatest light source there is, the sun’s position can drastically change your landscape footage in many ways. For science geeks, it’s fun to note that the sun even affects night shoots. However, during the day, you can use the sun as part of your landscape footage by either shooting with it at your back, or shooting into it. You can also utilize the high noon sun to temporarily shoot without shadows, or use dusk or dawn light to get fantastic new colors.

Also keep an eye out for clouds and try to find ways to incorporate them into your compositions. Shooting time-lapse footage (more on that below) can add great dynamism, and it can add to your framing by creating beautiful counterpoints to the land below.

3. Vary the Focus

From there, you have compositional options for objects in the foreground, middle ground, and background. If you’re not familiar with those terms, here’s a great article that breaks down the multiple composition planes. To really utilize all three, consider putting objects in the immediate foreground just barely on the edges of the frames to provide perspective. Find shots that have interesting features in the middle ground as well before opening up into the wide background across the horizon and sky.

You can also experiment with depth-of-field and where you set your focus between the foreground, middle ground, and background. Add ND filters to help you stop down to get shallower DOF too. You can also try rack-focuses to move the focus across the landscape (here’s a good article on that).

These tips so far will help your video marketing agency or video production company grow and like one of our previous blogs says one day u might be able to make money off of this.

4. Find or Create Movement

Perhaps the greatest trick you can use for your landscape videography (for a videographer) to distinguish it from your regular landscape photography is to add or create movement. You can start by using simple pans and tilts. A pan that starts on an object close in the foreground then reveals the wide landscape in the background is a great approach. It also helps to find movement even in a static frame. A car running down a highway or people moving across the screen will add more visual information for viewers to latch onto and will make your video marketing grow.

From there you can add other types of movement utilizing sliders — or even create movement on your own by using time-lapses including clouds, shadows, and the sun. Check out some more camera movement tips and tricks below.

5. Consider Time-Lapse

Time-lapses are a great way to really capture the majesty of the outdoors. To take a time-lapse, you have a couple of options. First you can simply record footage for 10-12 minutes (or longer), which you can speed up in post. However this takes up a good deal of card and drive space. You can also use an interval meter to take a series of photos over a set period as well.

If you’re a new videographer or blogger then it might take some time for it all to catch on. One day you might even be doing it in your dreams.
